Autodesk BIM Design Competition

The Autodesk BIM International student design competition was to design a shopping mall and multiplex using Revit interface. The entry passed qualification in the Indian contingent after passing the necesary requirements. Located at one of the most busiest commercial districts, Patny juction in Secunderabad, the massing and the facade of the mall has been consciously designed with respect to this view point to garner greater catchment. The mall consists of various stores arranged in a single corridor formally, around which a large atrium serves as a central gathering space. A number of break-out spaces have been provided in corridors, with small kiosks, to promote interaction without disturbing the flow of traffic.
