Rajasthan Ke Kalakaar - A migrated artisan community

The project aimed at housing and rehabilitating the rajasthani migrants (i.e., artisan community) in the city of Hyderabad. The community facing adverse conditions and compromising on their basic amenities for mere survival are scattered to various portions of the city and thereby the design focuses on creating a space where it is easy for both, the consumer to get what he wants, and the worker to survive without any anomalies. Also, the proposal creates greater prospects in the entire area, not just being limited to thesse ‘Kalakaars’ but a micro-neighborhood sustaining within.
